CS 102: Computer Science Fundamentals B

CS Fundamentals B is a introductory course designed for first graders. It reviews many of the fundamental concepts of programming introduced in CS 101, but CS 101 is not a  prerequisite for this class.

Students will use pseudocode in drag and drop block coding to complete various tasks. At the end of the course, students will create a simple 2D animated game using pseudocode.

Topics that will be discussed includes:

  • Digital Citizenship
  • Sequencing
  • Loops
  • Impacts of Computing
  • Events
