CS Fundamentals E is a introductory course designed to introduce fourth graders to computer science. Technology and Artificial Intelligence are a great part of our lives, and it will only get bigger. Learning Computer Science early can go a long way in preparing for a successful career. Not only will this course prepare students for a future career in computer science, it will also reinforce logical and reasoning skills.
Students will use pseudocode in drag and drop block coding to complete various tasks. At the end of the course, students will create a simple 2D animated game using pseudocode.
Topics that will be discussed includes:
- Sequencing
- Loops
- Events
- Conditionals
- Binary
- Digital Citizenship
